|New Update Hulu Plus App for Android with Chromecast Support - About two months after its release, Google Chromecast very popular when it was released about two months ago , but it has a distinct lack of integration of applications since. Google does not allow any developer to release smaller Chromecast - enabled applications yet. When the device came out , it only supported Netflix, Google Play Music, YouTube , & Google Play Movies . Today you can add Hulu Plus to that list. The latest update Hulu Plus App for the Android & iOS apps bring the cast to ads-supported streaming service.|
Just like in other applications , there is a small cast button just above the screen . When you press it , you get the option to play the video on your device or on a local network Chromecasts . Position & the menu looks almost exactly like Netflix, Hulu but the color-scheme . Well, it's also much more-responsive as native applications using a lot of Hulu & Netflix WebAssets .
All videos will be passed to Chromecast, which is then pulled down the video itself. Which allows you to use Android or iOS device for other things. You can even take-it out of the room or off - the video will continue to play. The HuluApp would be used to control play-back with continuous control bar at the bottom of the app to play / pause button , skip back button, & a progress bar.
HuluPlus also includes lock-screen & playback controls notifi-cations on Android_devices, which are supported in 4.0 & higher. It allows you to pause & resume play-back without opening the apps. It's a little confusing to completely stop play-back on your Chromecast - no stop button like on Netflix. Instead you must open casting-menu, & then close the stream by pressing the > X <. The HuluPlus app is free, but requires a $7.99/month subscription. Chromecast is finally in stock most places too. Hopefully this is just the first of many new-applications to include support Chrome~cast.
